Wandering down the aisles of the VR exhibitors at the Las Vegas Convention center, we ended up passing a fairly inconspicuous doorway open to a sidebar conference room area. The room was full of people wearing VR headsets, and when I looked in further, it was apparent why this exhibit wasn’t on the main floor… it was a VR porn demo provided by Naughty America, a major longtime player in online adult content production.

So of course my curiosity was at an all-time high… I mean, I’ve seen porn. I’ve seen VR. The combination of the two… well, the possibilities are endless.

I rolled into the room and the girl working the booth got me all set up with the standard, off-the-shelf Oculus Rift headset. Nothing fancy schmancy. Standard VR setup.

Instantly, I was transported to a sunny beach with a busty brunette jumping and dancing over the incoming waves. She was having loads of fun and then decided to ask about going back to the beach house for some “nice time”.

The next moment, the point of view shifts to a living room scene where we’re on a white couch. She jumps on top of my virtual jablonski and starts working away at it… tig ol biddies spinning and bouncing away.

It was {ahem} pretty good.

Okay, it was really, really good.

Current mobile phone screen resolution with magnified pixels notwithstanding, the next generation of high resolution mobile screens will be much, much better.

I can certainly see where this will become a big thing. Like… with the right synchronization with sex toys, enough to cause birth rates to drop. Which might not be a bad thing actually.

There’s a gap right now in content for VR adult stuff, and I think it’s enough to create an opportunity for some new entrants to get in and produce a new brand with premium stuff. VR porn production studio anyone? Bueller? Bueller?
