FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

10XTS Graduates from Microsoft for Startups Accelerator Program with $120,000 Grant, Accelerating Development of XDEX Platform on Microsoft Azure

REDMOND, WA – October 18, 2019 – 10XTS, a blockchain technology company focused on digital asset management solutions, is proud to announce its graduation from the Microsoft for Startups Accelerator Program, having completed the program’s first phase. This milestone includes a $120,000 non-dilutive grant from Microsoft to support the continued development and deployment of 10XTS’s flagship XDEX platform on Microsoft Azure Cloud Services. This support represents a significant step forward in advancing XDEX’s capabilities for secure, compliant record management within capital markets and highly regulated industries.

Through the Microsoft for Startups program, 10XTS is positioning XDEX as a scalable blockchain solution tailored to the needs of financial services, capital markets, and other sectors that require secure, transparent data management. The XDEX platform utilizes a distributed ledger to maintain immutable records and ensure transparency and regulatory compliance, enabling seamless data sharing among market participants while lowering risks and operational costs.

Bringing Enterprise Information Architecture to Blockchain
CEO Michael Hiles brings a strong background in enterprise content management to 10XTS, having been a partner in a Microsoft Partner consulting firm in the Content & Collaboration track. Hiles’s expertise in information architecture and governance with tools like Microsoft SharePoint helped shape XDEX’s approach, enabling 10XTS to address the crucial role of structured data and document management in blockchain technology. His prior work with enterprise content management systems has been foundational in developing XDEX, a solution that links traditional documents, structured data, and unstructured content to a blockchain distributed ledger.

“Information architecture and governance are essential but missing links in blockchain’s adoption within regulated industries,” Hiles noted. “We’re excited to bring Microsoft’s resources and XDEX’s capabilities together to make blockchain a more viable solution for capital markets and other regulated sectors.”

About XDEX: A Secure, Compliant Data Vault for Capital Markets
The XDEX platform is designed to be a distributed ledger-based record management platform for capital markets, ensuring transparency and immutability in financial transactions. By creating a shared, encrypted document and metadata vault, XDEX allows capital market participants to store and access critical information on entities, assets, and transactions. This approach supports true “tokenization” of assets within recognized legal frameworks, making it a reliable, legally sound platform for digital asset management.

Unlike many blockchain platforms that store cryptographic token hash values with minimal metadata, XDEX takes a structured record management approach. By linking real-world business data and artifacts to a distributed ledger, XDEX provides immutable proof of data, attaching a specific version of digital documents and other records directly to the blockchain. This means that any token or hash value on XDEX is backed by verifiable data, a crucial feature for regulatory compliance in financial services.

“If someone claims a token represents shares of stock in a company, how do they prove it with real evidence?” Hiles asked. “Regulators will require immutable proof, and XDEX provides that critical link by attaching real-world data to the blockchain.”

Microsoft’s Role in Supporting XDEX Development and Global Deployment
The Microsoft for Startups Accelerator Program has been instrumental in enabling 10XTS to deploy XDEX on the Microsoft Azure Cloud Services platform, ensuring scalability and security for enterprise use. XDEX’s architecture integrates with Microsoft Office 365 and Dynamics productivity suites, taking advantage of Microsoft’s advancements in metadata management, workflows, and compliance to meet the complex demands of financial services and regulated industries.

10XTS’s next steps include working closely with Microsoft’s global sales team to define an Azure cloud services consumption model that can be scaled across markets. In addition, 10XTS will focus on deploying XDEX into the global Azure Marketplace, making the platform readily accessible to businesses and financial institutions worldwide.

Aiming for Microsoft’s Co-Sell Program and Future M12 Investment
Upon achieving global scalability and deployment in the Azure Marketplace, 10XTS will be eligible to participate in the Microsoft Co-Sell program, a strategic partnership that connects 10XTS with Microsoft’s global sales channels. This opportunity will enable XDEX to reach a broader market by leveraging Microsoft’s extensive network and sales resources, furthering 10XTS’s mission to bring blockchain-driven transparency and security to financial services on an international scale.

Following successful deployment and Co-Sell partnership, 10XTS hopes to be considered for investment by M12 (formerly Microsoft Ventures), which would provide the resources needed to accelerate customer onboarding and solution deployment. This potential investment would help 10XTS scale its operations, making XDEX the premier solution for compliant, secure digital asset management and blockchain-based recordkeeping within capital markets and regulated industries.
